I just replaced all hoses but that one last weekend on my 3fe. What a poor design. It was in great shape, hope it lasts awhile

It's a newer water pump and thermostat or else I would be doing them now too

It’s easier without the ac there lol. Still not exactly sure what that metal pipe actually bolts to on the bolt tab.. you guys know? My engine didn’t have the metal pipe but now I have one, I have a temporary full length rubber hose now.

Removed the A/C pump as well as the Idler Pulley brackets. The metal pipe in the middle of the two hoses bolts to a nearby bracket or the block. It was dark, without a flashlight so I cuoldn't tell exactly where it was bolted. I can snap a picture today.

If you get a chance I would appreciate it, it’s not immediately obvious to me where it’s supposed to bolt up especially if I’m missing a bracket or something.

Hi, Thankfully I've only replaced it when doing the water pump at the same time. Mike

I didnt get a photo today, but will tomorrow

FYI, I’m getting ready to put a new pump on and I bough most of those hoses in there to replace at the same time. The weenie gasket is no longer made. I’m loosing faith about attempting this wiht the radiator in place.....
