Son's truck needs a new harness since the knock sensor connector snapped off the wire. I've read that this year model is non repairable.

I talked to Jim's in co. He sells them for $100 but did not have one.

Are there any other sources for these?

Thanks in advance,
ML

Engine harness? Check eBay. I just sold one a couple of months ago. :bang:

You can also splice on a connector and wires. What I did was used the old connector and soldered a wire to it then carefully cut a coax cable and put it around it with heat shrink as the shielding wire. One of the V6 plugs also works for the re knock sensor

I have a spare harness for a 22re series engine, but I don't know what year it's for. Are you a gambler?

depending on the cost of the gamble! do you have pictures of the ecm connectors?

I had read somewhere that the 22re knock sensor wire was not repairable, and that only the V6 is

What they mean is that the re is a one wire system. But if it brok you can splice and solder. I had to do it to make my wire longer for my EFI swap.

Thanks mudder, I will have to try it then
