HEY Guys ___ Going to look at a 91 Land Cruiser soon ,it has 213,000 miles, Auto, air ,sun roof, original owner asking $6,300, I think it has a straight 6 in it. Question is : Is it a good year ,I know the engine is weak ,compared to the later models, but still ,how does the drive train compare to the 92-95 models (transfer case ,trans., axels ,and differentials, also how are the geared compared to the 92-95 models? Also I’m not sure how the Center Locking Differential is engaged, I think this one is electronically engaged, but has a lever for high/low. Anyway need some input. _____ THANKS BAYRUNNER

That's some big miles for that price unless they have documentation on EVERY service performed.

If it has so much as a ding or a fade I would offer $4500 and work up...never work down.

I got mine in Dec with 170K on the clock for $4500 -- no unforeseen problems with it since --

I just sold my 92 with 213K on it for $7000! There are some people here who swear by the 3FE POWA!! I on the other hand wish I would have done more research before buiying the 92. I'm much happier with our 97. It actually goes when you push on the go pedal! :D I didn't have much probs withe the 92, just put in a radiator, alternator, belts, and rebuilt the front axle. Either way, they are all tanks! Good luck!
