R there any engines that i can get for and 89 toyota sr5 or was there a v6 available that year? please let me know. Thanks

The 3.0 V6 was available in 89 for runners and pickups as far as I know. I know late 88 was when that 3.0 was first available at least for runners; I have one in my 88 SR5 Runner. I think that the I4 turbo was also available in 89 but I am not so sure? That was a wonderful engine from what i have heard. there are only two truck/runner motors that yr, the 22R-E I-4 and the 3VZ-E V-6.

the last yr for the turbo charged 22R-TE was 87. 87 was also the last yr the 22R.
