yep, he has no use for it since his cancer hit. he has more important tasks to complete.

some pics:
there is NO title for this vehicle. it is a grey market truck with no Form 1 document.
registering it will be "creative".
export to the States will require some dismatling and sold as "parts"

Myself nor Rusty assume ANY responsibility as to what happens once the vehicle leaves the property. Buyer is fully responsible.

the 3B II is a nice engine, a bit more powerful than the generic 3B.
NONE of the regular 3B parts fit this motor.
rotory pump, quieter than the inline
as well as a bit more snap ( a 3B with snap)
runs well, excellent compression, needs exhaust badly.

all 75 series trays fit 75 series

all 79 series trays fit 79 series, they are not bolt on interchangable between the two models.

if i end up buying it off Rusty (2 week advertising period) then i will install a 79 series bed by moving the rear axle back or forward as needed and relocating the supports.

so

1985 BJ75 to 1998 HZJ75, the beds are interchangable.

1999 to 2012 HZJ79 beds are interchangable

mods will be required to interchange with different years.

the original purchaser is having some issues importing it to the States.
still for sale till the 11th when i will buy it off Rusty.

Hi Wayne, I'm a total newbie to the whole cruiser scene and IH8MUD. I just saw this truck for sale one road over from me and it kind of fit the bill as to what I always wanted, a little 4x4 pickup that was diesel. So, I bought it. Anyhow, I didn't realize what a pandora's box I've opened. Didn't realize how cool the BJ75's are. The guy had it on the road a few years back, but from reading posts on here, there was some probable creativity in getting it registered, since I'm pretty sure it was a mine truck (though the guy I bought it from didn't seem to know). I think the first owner, a vietnamese guy did the fudging.
Anyhow, I'm happy to see you only live an hour and a half from me as I live in Milton. I'll likely want to get your opinion on whether this truck is worth fixing up and see if you have any spare body parts to sell... like a whole cab. It has a ton of rust (the weight of the doors flexes the fender and windscreen) but I'm ambitious and figure I should learn how to weld :)
So far I've been just driving it in the woods and planning on using it on the farm, but hope to put it back on the road one day. It runs like a top and the second owner put a 5 speed transmission in it. Driving it actually quickens my pulse.
Take care, Victor
