Just bought a 80 series so my 88 Fj 62 is now up for sale. 171000 miles. Very good condition. Two tone, blue and gray. Blue has been repainted once, grey is origional, paint is about a 7 out of 10. Interior is in good shape. 2 cracks on dash, and normal tear on drivers seat. SOR front seatcovers have some wear but still useable. The child window lock no longer woorks but windows still operate. AC cold, heat hot. Good Pioneer stereo/ cd, xm, and upgraded speekers. SOR floor mats, heavy rubber bed mat.
Engine runs great, just replaced oil gally plug, oil pan gasket, all water hoses, and new Urban land cruiser battery cables ( these things are bomber).
Recent tcase rebuild. Recent front end rebuild. OME dakkar 2" hd front md Rear, suspension installed in 06. Major tune up in 06. Frame is 10 out of 10.
New denso starter, and alternator. New BFG AT 33"x12"
the truck has a rust spot that is about the size of a quarter on the pasanger side rocker panel. It has a crackin the paint on the hood about 1 inch long that is starting to rust. Neither spot is rot and could be easily repaird, but I want folks to know what they are getting.
This is overall a great truck with most of the major PM issues taken care of. I would not hesitate to drive this tuck, as is, to Chili up to Alaska. It would also make a great base truck to build for a trail truck. It is not a good cannidate for a rock crawler as it is really to nice. I am going to ask $10000.00 locally, my ih8mud price is $9000.00
