Just jumped into the Land Cruiser world (hopefully)! Left a deposit for a 1988 FJ62, and if all paperwork is in order and no issues arise, by next Wednesday I should have a single owner Cruiser.

Not perfect, but $5k for a 125k mile Cruiser with seemingly no engine nor tarnny/tranfer leaks, should be a good buy! Even got an extra engine in the deal.

Look forward to chatting with you guys in the near future!

I would take that deal for 5k all day long!

However
seemingly no engine nor tarnny/tranfer leaks
I don't believe this for a second ;)

What part of the world are you in?

That doesn’t look like ‘Merica...

At first glance AND if it looks as good inside as outside AND the Mileage is correct AND, AND, AND...you just obtained the all time “MUD BEST BUY” of the century!!!

I certainly echo Mr. *erse’s question of “what part of the world are you in”?

I am located in PUerto Rico.

And yes, running boards are going!

Very nice 62. Welcome !

Great truck, but Clark Griswold called, and he wants his bumper back, NOW!

As good as that truck looks, it'd be a deal for $5K if the engine and trans were missing.

Wepa!

Bayamon?

Good to see some rolling aorund PR still, every time I'm down there I never see any 60s (at least in Cabo Rojo.) Always thought I could bring one back.

Saludos amigo!

Want to add you can get center caps, lug nuts, front mud flaps, and front bumper new (original and repop).

Whoever had it probably really liked it as it looks like they carefully painted the undercarriage bright silver?
