I am trying to find this type of rain guard/wind deflector for my "88 BJ73.
The clips are really fragile and one has broken off. I considered trying to make something to replace the clips but purchasing new would be ideal.

Even if I got the clips I would be in good shape. The deflectors are hanging in there.

This is what we came up with using a 3D printer.

Used some Xmas tree molding clips to hold them in place.

They should work just fine. Only one was still intact.

What filament material?
ABS?

I have used clip on weathershields for years, and they all suffer the same issue of clips failing or the mounting hole in the weathershield cracks.
Easiest solution I have seen lately is the use of a 3m double sided tape. This will fail in 10 years time but super easy to mitigate.
Removal of double sided tape is easy with fishing line (braid) and clean up remaining glue with solvent.
Ive tried to get weathershields that do not interfere with the operation of the little quarter window on the earlier 70 series, but getting harder to find now.

The 3d printed clips are a great answer to the issue, well done!
