settle down Francis, it can be a tough crowd here as many have a 6th sense about things
-you need to post a price in for sale threads
-you joined almost 2 years ago and these are your first 2 posts
-it's a nice looking rig with a lot of stuff done to it, unfortunetely it may not sell for as much as you've put into it.

This is quite possibly the best car based forum on the entire internet.

However, you need to proceed with common sense. You posted a for sale ad, with no price? Most likely its a copy/paste from craigslist, where the price is listed separate. It happens.

Also, aftermarket wheels never help a 60 series, but otherwise a nice build

I thought that might get a rise out of you. I didn't post a price because I honestly have no idea what level makes sense. Any advice you'd like to offer is most welcome.

I swapped the Hollywood wheels for OEM wheels but didn't changethe picture.

I don't deal with with higher end trucks, it's not what I do. I don't have a clue as to what to ask for it. The market is just crazy right now and has been for a while. Good quality and functional upgrades are good.
what color is the interior? the dash looks brown but the door panels look blue.
speaking of the door panels, the rears are 62 series and the fronts are 60?
good job on changing the rims.

Dash and seats are brown , door panels are tan. If the rear panels are 62 series I wasn't aware of it.

Rear panels appear to be power windows (62 feature) vs the front are crank (60).

I’m pretty sure the rules of the forum are that you MUST include a price in your post. Before you tell me that you’ve explained yourself about this already and just don’t know what to ask, I’ve seen that. The reason doesn’t matter. The fact is that you’re posting a vehicle here and are breaking the rules.

With that said, it’s obvious this is a high-end, top dollar vehicle. As you’ve mentioned, you’re marketing it here because this is a community of adults interested in serious off road vehicles. Those two things alone should dictate that you put forth the proper time and effort to craft your ad. The pictures do NOT represent the vehicle you’re selling. You’ve told us those aren’t the rims that are on the vehicle any longer. Why not take pictures of the vehicle as she sits right now? That picture of the backseat does not even look like it is this vehicle. As has been pointed out the panels are from an FJ 62. Also, in that picture the paint all body surfaces are white paint.

I’m not being critical, I’m offering advice. If you want to sell something, especially here, represent it accurately and PRICE it fairly. A little effort goes a long way.....both toward making the sale and eliminating having to answer a ton of unnecessary questions.

You're absolutely correct. I'm going to pull the ad, if I can firgure out how to do that, and repost it with a price and technically correct pictures. Thanks for your guidance.

Just edit your first post. Add the price. :meh:

Just give me a call. I am interested and a serious buyer if the price is right.
Thanks John 717-612-0619
I am sure you know how to send recent pictures to a cell phone. That's my cell # so send me those pics please.

No, will revise/repost with asking price and better pictures on Wednesday.
How long have you owned this cruiser and WHY are you selling it???
I've owned the cruiser since August 2017. It took me 14 months to restore and re-engine the rig. I'm selling it because it has become a bone of contention with my wife and I have a nice BMW that doesn't get driven.

I will send pictures and call on Wednesday. I have 1,100 pictures taken during the restoration but none of the undercarriage post restoration. I will take some shots of the undercarriage, rear doors (posted wrong picture -- doors are 60 series), wheels, etc. If anyone is really serious I highly recommend you visit FJ60 E-ROD Swap - SRMINT - Stoffregen Motorsports for the full story. Matt Stoffregen put 385 hours in to this restoration.
