I know I’m going to regret this but I’m putting my 1987 Toyota FJ60 Landcruiser up for sale. I’ve had her for 2.5 years and put about 17K miles on her.
• Approx. 185K miles (US model)
• 2F 6 cyl gas, runs great, desmogged, leaks a bit of oil
• H55 5 speed
• 4.11 gears, ARB air locker in the back
• OME heavy suspension
• 33x12.5 Yokohama Geolander tires, some tread left, some weather cracking starting to show
• Iron pig front seats, very comfortable for long trips
• Tuffy security console
• 2” receiver hitch
• Steel front bumper with winch mount, has some rust on it
• Body is really good but some surface rust has started to show in the past year. Rockers, wheel wells, frame, etc are still solid. The previous owner did color matched bedliner on the lower portion of the body. Should still be an easy restoration if you wanted to.
• I replaced the clutch slave/master right after I bought her, and I rebuilt the front knuckles in May 2014 including new wheel bearings, seals, and a caliper and birfield on one side. The other side may need a caliper – I cleaned and lubed it last year but it’s sticking occasionally now. I also installed an upgraded headlight wiring harness and H4 headlights.
• The previous owner did a lot of work after importing her from the states. I can send a link to his for sale ad that lists everything he did (it’s a long list!
• She needs a little TLC - windshield is cracked, rear wiper is very slow, A/C needs recharge, driver side mirror is cracked, rear driver interior door panel is rough, interior cargo panel over the jack is missing, rear exhaust hanger is broken, power steering leak, drivers side speakers are missing
• $5500 obo, as is, where is, cash only, no paypal
• The only trade I would consider is a truck camper to fit a newer long box. Can add some cash if needed
