1987 FJ60 for Sale.

245,000 miles

This a great running truck. the body is in pretty good shape, but it is not cherry. It has the some usual small rust spots here and there. I cut out and fixed the metal behind the rear wheels. the paint is a 15 footer.

Interior is really nice. the seat on the drivers side has been repaired, but looks nice. Carpet, dash and Seats all in good shape. the hinge on the center console is broken so the top comes right off. I was planning on a new one. the carpet has been removed from the back hatch and I replaced it with a cut piece of truck mat. the talgate is rough, but closes with a slam and the top hatch works well.

The Truck rolls down the road comfortably. A/C is ice cold. the rear seat heater is missing the fuse. I have never fooled with it. it is never been cold enough to need it. steering, tires and brakes are all great.

I have done the following upgrades and repairs in the last 8 months.
- New clutch, preassure plate, rear seal.
-**DE-SMOG*** please notice this. Here in Alabama, there is no restriction or testing in the smog stuff. I removed everything except for the EGR. it runs good, has a little more pep, and power
- Rebuilt Carb from the Carb. exchange.
- new front brakes. Calipers, discs, pads. I also repacked the hubs while there.
-Plugs, Wires, rotor, fuel filter, etc... all the tune up stuff.
-A local off road shop installed a new cross strut where the rear shock attach. they also installed new Rancho shocks all around
- Heavy duty stearing stabalizer
- 3" extended shackels
- new rear seatbelts

What doesn't work, or is not right?

- The e-brake stinks. one of the cables is broken.
- the bumpers are missing one or both of the end caps
- As I said before, the tailgate is funky, but does work with a slam.

All in All it is an awesome ride. the tires are new, but not very aggresive.

white exterior
light Brown interior

I am selling for several reasons. New Baby, #4, new truck, time for something different, maybe smaller.

This could be a daily driver, its a very nice ride.
