There's a way...

I would say that there is a way to do it as I know of at least 4, 1987 and newer, 70 series vehicles registered in Cali. now but, I am not sure of how to do it or the laws there, and don't want to get into it here...
But if you are serious, research it, and commit to buying, I would drive up the Baja to Calif., no problem. Or you can take a short vacation to Cabo, enjoy the beach, check out the vehicle, and see why you want it.
I would drive anywhere in it tonight actually, without worrying.

You should be getting top dollar for your BJ 74. TOP DOLLAR! Cable Lockers, shower etc..

I know this probably means nothing to you but if I didnt have my BJ 74 I would be all over yours and put the shackles where they are supposed to be.

Bump!

worth every penny in my eyes.
Good luck with the sale.
Are you planning on going the new troopy route like we talked about last time?

BJ-74

Just back from another trip down to the Peten jungle/Mayan ruins in Guatemala and saw so many new troopies, and pick ups...
Hoping to get a sale done-truck is 25 years now too! Not too many left in the world... this reliable anyway. Good luck getting the money together! Most reliable, durable truck I have owned.
Going another route upon sale- found a LandCruiser pick up w/camper and a XR650R.

Great to hear from you.

Hey thanks for asking. I am simplifying a bit by switching to a big modified dual-sport motorcycle soon for traveling South America and beyond. Truck is so solid, but I can't justify having it sitting here in Baja; someone else could be using it for work, or play more than I will be after my next upcoming purchases.
This truck has been my only automobile, besides bicycles for about 3 years now; it would be the last car I ever buy, if kept.
I want the ability to put a moto in a truck-bed too, the BJ74 is still too short with the roof off for that...
I don't want to trailer anything, so gonna sell it.
