Well folks the time has come for me to sell. I'm only letting go because I'm off to Africa for four months at the end of this month, and then again next spring for 6. I want the flexibility of having cash on hand if I want to buy a little car for over there...I do want to have a lifetime 60 one day, but I have another spare engine nearby that I can rebuild at any time should a great 60 come along one day when I have more time.

This is a great Land Cruiser with relatively low mileage on a diesel engine, at 332, 000 km (just over 200 000 miles). As many of you know it is good to 450 000 km without a rebuild. It is an automatic. Not a lot of power but super easy to drive in the city. I love it compared to the five speed. The tranny is in excellent shape. Just did a big flush and she's running very smoothly. Care of these transmissions is key.

The valve timing was done a couple of years ago, so they are about due. It's had very regular oil changes, the brakes are good, the exhaust is good to go. It has OME 2.5 inch lift, and 31.5 inch yokohama's with about 75% tread left. they are on new plane jane white rims. Not pretty but smooth as butter is this ride. I'll be sad to not have it anymore, but I have a little car and I'm cool with that...

Best of all it is equipped with a fully functioning veggie oil system which will allow you to drive virtually for free, save and except for the diesel needed to start up and shut down. It is easy to use and I'll be happy to give you a bit of a tutorial if you choose to buy it. It comes with a second tank in the trunk, and a pump and filter system that you put into a veggie oil container-16 litres can be pumped in about 10 minutes.

Now, obviously at this price you are probably guessing that it is not a perfect body or frame. I've had some metal work done to the left side---to the tune of 800 bucks. I've had holes in teh floor patched, to the tune of 300, and the right side is about to get 225 worth of metal, which will make it stable for the next 3 years or so depending how and in what conditions you drive. obviously the drier the better. I've been advised it's worth pouring a little more into to keep it going for another 3 years. It's not on the verge of collapse but needs re-enforcement at this point. If you are thinking of converting a gasser than this could be your ride. It has some fibreglass work that's been to the usual rear wheel well.

Now here's the extra's it comes with:

extra 4 core heavy duty rad
extra set of brake pads
extra shock-not ome
extra grill
extra light holders---you could essentially rebuild the front end with all of the parts i have in the event of an accident.
few misc. tail lights, head lights, fuses, light bulbs etc.
automatic transmission cooler---in the box just needs to be installed
rear pinion seal
bushings for ome shocks
a full sized spare---not exact size as four tires being run but will get ya through

Also comes with roof racks that are pretty skookum. It has a giant jack-all that is amazing to use...It has custom pleather super comfy seats in it. Now here's the interesting......I've gutted it. the carpet in the back is all gone. so are the seats. It's pretty bare bones. It is not a pretty truck. The passenger door is brown and the rest of the truck is blue---the paint is peeling off the roof--someone did a poor paintjob. It's a functioning veggie vehicle though.

Now the best best part..........if you live south of the border I'm willing to drive er south, as I'd love a kitesurfing trip in the Gorge in Oregon to end my time with er. This would have to be done before the last weekend in May---cannot happen the last weekend in May as we are getting our house ready for renters before we go to Africa. A deposit of 1000 will get the cruiser moving south.

Will try and get some pics going here, but believe me the pics probably won't sell it for you...

Price is 6000 CDN. Please no lowballers. All of the parts separately are just about worth 5000. Considering you have a skookum Land Cruiser that'll run for free for three years give or take, it's worth what I'm asking in my opinion.

$5500 also including a spare alternator, radiator and starter motor. Will drive vehicle to the US but not with those items in it. They would need to be shipped separately, but go to the buyer.

delivery to P-NW

Willing to deliver to the Pacific Northwest at this point as I'm back from Africa, and still want to unload the rig. She's running well enough that I'm confident to commit to getting er as far south as Portland.

PMed you for pics
