They look almost the same color in person. I use the same touch-up paint on both. The rig has been on the trail several times, and has several dings here and there, and many touched-up rock chips in the paint. There is a small dent beneath one of the Marlin Crawler stickers, and the trailer has a couple small dents in the body.

If anyone is seriously interested, I can do a PPI for them for the price of gas. :)

Thanks acoen, it was carefully planned and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I wish I used it as much as I planned to when I built it. What I didn't expect is how well it drives on the highway after all the mods. This thing actually drives as good or better than it did stock on the highway, not to mention it's off road capabilities, and gets nearly the same gas mileage.

Great build. These are great trucks when built. My 85 also drives just as well with the 35's. Just noted 19mpg last week. GLWS...

Hey, thanks. What gears are you running with the 35s? On mine, the 529s seem to be a perfect match for the 35s. Speedo is accurate without any changes to the speedo gear. I got lucky with that combo.

I am running 4.88's and like it. I have a engine from 22RE performance and went with a low-mid cam which works great in the 1,000-3,000 RPM range but doesn't pull like the mid range performance cam I used to run. That said it lumbers along in the 2400-2800 range great. Still need to down shift on long grades though. But is turning good millage running the new BFG KM3's.

I also have 4.88's in my truck and absolutely love it. I'm on 33's but I average 18-19 MPG too.

I'm no longer receiving e-mail notifications when someone posts, so feel free to call if you do not receive a response.

Thanks

Nice rig

Sorry for the slow responses guys, for some reason I do not get e-mail notices anymore when folks post, and I'm not on the forum very often.

Smog:
Everything is in tact and functional except it currently has the LC Engineering cat delete, but believe I still have the cat in the box of parts that go with the truck, if not, can easily come up with one. It should be a simple bolt in.

Nice Rig:
Thanks!!
