I'm selling my FJ60 Land Cruiser. The engine and transmission have been swapped. It has a carbureted Chevy 350 from a Camaro mated to a H55F transmission. Two optima batteries. Big aluminum radiator with an over sized gas tank. Over sized front tubular bumper. I did not build the car up, the previous owner did. He reported that the engine had 70,000 on it prior to install. Body has about 184,000 on it. Vehicle is registered in CA and located in Los Angeles.
Paint is recent, less than a year. Body has very little rust. There are a few small blisters on the passenger side door area. AC and heat are not hooked up.
Mild lift, 2.5 or 3 inches. Tires are getting old but plenty of miles left. Alloy rims. Interior is original, though the carpet is newer. I'd rate the interior as 7 out of 10. Not perfect, but not trashed.
Truck does not have cat. So not smog compliant in CA especially. Muffler and tail pipe tucked underneath.
Known issues:
1) Occasionally grinds going into 4th at higher revs. Previous owner stated that the transmission was taken apart and inspected and no flaw could be found. Take a look at this thread for some info about H55f transmissions with quirks: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/h55f-grinding.234873/
2) No Horn
3) Gas gauge reads as half-full when full up. It came like this, don't know why it does that. However, I can still read how much fuel I have and when I need to fill it up.
4) There is a tach where the clock used to be that does not work.
