I've fallen into the classic 'too many projects' problem, and it's time for me to let my cruiser go
Specifics:
1985 FJ60
2F motor with 306,000 miles, 4-speed manual, good tires
Previous owner installed a 2 or 3 inch OME lift, I had the upper rear shock mounts re-welded as they were garbage. Rear diff is a Detroit locker as well. Warn Winch, dual battery setup, full Garvin safari rack with 2 very bright KC hilites & 2 full size spare tires.
I've had it de-smogged professionally by Fastrack in Peabody MA with a brand new TrollHole carb. Carb could use a tune as the idle is currently about 1000rpm when it's warmed up. New choke cable, new clutch slave cylinder, exhaust system under a year old, brand new battery, and a new modern stereo & speakers (sorry purists!)
Transfer case leaks a bit but works no problem, transmission shifts well for an old truck.
Didn't pass NH inspection because of the parking brake (needs a new cable) The body is rusty (rear wheel wells could use a patch up) and some jerk bumped into the passenger side rear door this past winter but it's drivable for sure and I think it would make a great trail rig or hunting truck.
