GLWS...you Canadians are crazy (some surface rust). It cracks me up the difference in describing rust from one part of North America to the other. Even in the Southeastern U.S. they are proud of trucks that have been here there whole lives but it even the little rust they have down here is a TON for someone from the Southwest. Just funny and

I have seen Toyota's (and bought them
) that where literaly falling apart from the rust but the drivetrain was still perfect.So in the end it's all about how and what you are going to use it for.

I've seen a lot of cruisers in worst shape too, and I guess it's all about what you need out of it in the end. Granted there are some rough spots, but overall it's a solid ride, and has served us well!

BTW, the truck comes with a spare motor with 200,000kms on it.
