Unfortunately i have decided to sell my Fj60. I have decided to go a different route.
This truck is a RUST FREE!! truck. It has 225,000 miles it has no rust whats so ever. I have looked up down and all around. Still no sign of rust. the Paint is rough as it was sitting in Las Vegas for a few years. At the time i purchased it the interior was shot and i mean shot. Since i have brought it home to Cali i have done some work to it.
the first thing i did was replace the interior on this truck from the dash,seats,door panels,and carpet, all from a donor truck from the east coast.
The truck does start and idles good, it smokes a little posssibly bad valve seat. here is a list of the things i have done to her.
* replaced the interior, front and rear seats, dash, ( with original radio! ).
* Door panels and rear panels. Carpet from front to back and all from a well kept donor truck.
* changed fluids on the rear end and front end.
* oil change on motor.
* fuel filter
* plugs, wires, cap and rotor,air filter.
* shifter knob, brake pedal and fuel pedal pads.
* replaced door mirrors
* front window regulators.
* front and rear brakes are good. no leaks on the cylinders.
* front bumper been replaced
truck needs a clutch, slips really bad but otherwise still runs.
body has a few dents. Right rear corner has a glob of bondo the PO attempted to repair himself.
all the lights work. front park lamps have been removed by me. havent replaced them yet.
This truck is a good platform for an expedition truck or a V8 swap.
