Upfor sale is my 1984 FJ60, currently has 108956 miles, it is our second vehicle and takes me to work but I like 2 miles from work and I'm a fireman so I drive to work once a week.

I bought this in Jan of '08 with 103800ish miles from the second owner who had it for about a week when he had family trouble and had to sell it. The title was still in the original owners name and it was an idaho title. I'm currently getting rid of it because we have a Jeep (that my wife HAD to have, I liked the LC and thats my disclaimer) and dont need 2 4WD's and have had a hankerin for something more sporty.

The LC runs and drives good, its a stock 2F that leaks a little oil, stock 4 speed shifts smooth no grinds, tranfers case works good, leaks a tiny bit. Front and rear diffs are good, front leaks a bit on the left side. AC was converted in June of this year, and it blows cold. One of the VSV's has a broken nipple and stays in place. I recently changed fluids in the engine, trans, xfer case and both diffs. Has an exhaust leak right around the EGR area, so could the the gasket, or maybe the riser.

Exterior is straight, this is the original paint that has a few dings a little bit of surface rust and 2 areas where the paint is is worn away. IMO the worst of the surface rust is at the bottom of the windshield (pictured) but I took pictures of common rust problem areas of 60's. Theres a dent in the rear bumper that was there when I got it. The stow master front bar is complete, and the Bosch lights are complete but not hooked up. The antenna is broke off. It needs shocks and windshield wipers. At one point it looks like the hood came up while in motion, the dents near both windshield wipers, the bezel on the left wiper is broke and the hood is broken away from the supports, previous owners put some styrofoam pieces in the supports to shim them up with the sheet metal of the hood.

Interior is in ok condition a moderate tear in the left side of the passengers seat and a small one on the left side of the back seat, the center box is there but has a hole broke in the bottom. Both front seat belt adjustment plastic pieces are broke but they still buckle. Stock radio works but doesnt get good reception due to the broken antenna. Theres a dashmat hot glued on the dash, the dash in general looks fine. The cargo area carpet has a dark stain, its not easy to see, the interior panels have a few areas where damaged.

Rims are 15x7 rockcrawlers (I'm pretty sure) with Big-O M/Ts size 31x10.5x15 has a spare rim (same thats on the LC) with a Nexen same size as the others as a spare with 20% tread left, kinda get you where you're going spare. I have the stock rims as well but no spare rim.

I might be forgeting something so I will add as I remember, pics will be in next post.

I'm located in Fort Mohave, AZ zip 86426

Price $4K.

more pix, especially interior and underhood/chassis might help.

sounds like being a tow-behind wasn't an ideal setting.

low miles are fantastic, best of luck w/yr sale.

Thanks, I have a bunch more pics, I just exceeded my quota with these three. I'll get a photobucket account ASAP and link it here.

K heres the pictures, Pictures by drdimick - Photobucket

I also have 2 plastic totes with random extras for this 60. Including hoses, belts, a pint of paint (I doubt its good) a decent size strip of OEM fabric for the seat tops, fuel pump, oem cap rotor, extra glove box door I also have a new 1984 Body and chassis repair FSM as well as the Factory maintenance procedures in the 1985 flavor. The engine FSM was on backorder, I do have a beat up haynes for whatever that is worth.

I know it's impossible to appraise a vehicle without getting your hands on it, but whats a fair general direction for price. I've watched prices on other 60's and given the age and the wide ranges of variables it's been tough trying to gauge a starting price. Some I look at some ads and think "Wow, I think 4K isnt a bad starting price" and the next day another pops up and I think "I'll be lucky to get 2K for this thing" I have no problem accepting that my truck may not be worth what I'm asking, I just need some insight on what to ask.

Thanks
