Does anyone know where I can get keys cut for a 1983 FJ40? I am new to the land of LCs and don't know where to turn for these kinds of things. I have one ignition key that handles the front door and ignition. I would like a spare. Also I need keys for the tailgate lock. I have none of those.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Looks great. Love that green! Send her down here to Colombia we can straighten her right up!

Are those 31 inch tires with no lift? looks good. I need to order tires for mine.

Any hardware store can cut you a new ignition key. For the back door it may be easier to buy a new lock cylinder and key from www.cruisercorps.com and install it. It's pretty simple to swap out the lock cylinder and that key only opens the back door.

I know I know I bore you guys with Colombia cruisers. Went to check on mine today and lo and behold there was ANOTHER 1983 green govt use one getting its H41 worked on. actually good condition despite the camo wrap. The 31s on the regular suspension look good. also had funky speakers under the dash that I may steal as an idea.

I will say down here two 1983 FJ40s getting worked on side by side at a shop is no biggie.

Mine is the one under the knife on the left. gets painted next week.

Hey guys I may have found the Toyota mudflaps. I think they are both front and rear. I will try to get a pair soon and take a photo of them. maybe i can bring some back in my luggage then ship them to you all from Florida. I think they are probably made in China or here in Colombia but should look pretty original. Will post a photo.

Another shot. I can get some just let me know. won't charge a big upcharge I am new here and have benefited already from a lot of good advice.

Speaking of which what do you guys think of the look of this AC unit. I can get it installed 2 blocks down from my build down here.

I am trying to source and original nippon denso but no luck so far.

I saw a big square ugly one i hated. this one looks much better. I am thinking put the original heater in up there (none to be found here) and have this unit off to the side.
