Ok , so I’ve always been after a shorty 40 or a 45 series and when one popped up I quickly jumped on the chance to buy it! It’s been heavily modify already (not the way I would of gone but beggars can’t be choosers!). It’s currently sporting an EFI ford 302 v8 (presumably Windsor) , t700 transmission and 3 link suspension in the rear....and for a bonus it’s already registered! Anyway after I purchased this I quickly had to fly back to work (currently working in west Africa as a fitter) so no restoration photos are available as of yet but when I get home I’m diving straight into it. Already has a lot of rust in pillars and guards but because this is my first restoration I’m really looking forward to it. Here are some photos from picking it up to getting in the back yard.

Been pretty busy last few days pulling it apart and prepping for rust removal. Few photos of rust repairs and repairs that still need to be done

That thing is sweet! I wish the states had better access to beauties like this! What's your tow rig? Is that a Hilux?

I thought I might be wrong! Both look like sweet rigs!
