Have had the epiphany (aka wife told me) that I have too many vehicles so this has to go. Got it with intentions of it becoming a camping/wheeling rig since it's not perfect but certainly not crap either. I'll attempt to describe all the good and bad. 1982 FJ60, 2F, 4 speed manual, 183,806 miles. I bought it a month ago and since then have: flushed fuel tank and hard fuel lines, replaced rubber fuel lines, rebuilt carb, replaced fuel filter and fuel pump (sat for a while prior to me getting it). Starts, runs, drive, shifts, and stops pretty well. Inspection items (turn signals, headlights, taillights, horn, wipers) all work, as do gauges, blower fan, heater, winshield washer squirter, carb fan. Has York compressor (dunno if is stock?) AC blows but isn't cold. Radiator has pinhole leak where the top cap meets the core. tires+spare are old but low miles and hold air. Rust on both rear wheel well arches and one through-hole area on the roof corner above the passenger front door. Interior is fairly clean. Upholstery good except driver seat. Dash isn't cracked but sun-deformed in a few places. Original tires tools and jack under driver seat. E-brake no workie. Front windshield has bubbles. All doors open and close fine and all windows roll up and down fine. Weatherstripping is in pretty good shape. Batt was bad when I got it so borrowed one from another car so bring your own or add $100 to price.
Truck is located in Kerrville, TX, which is one hour northwest of San Antonio. Bring your trailer and pick it up when you are in Mason for the Lone Star Roundup! Mason is just an hour north of Kerrville. Will throw in a couple of extra fuel filters and a spare parts carb. Price is negotiable, but not interested in trades or parting it out.
