250k on combo, runs well but burns oil(believed to be valve stem seals). Comes with carb, alternator, starter, ac compressor. Smog equipment available. Asking $1000, send me an offer, would love to pass this on to a fellow cruiser head.

Interested in this! How much oil does it burn though? Bottom end in good shape?

I’m in Nashville, could potentially meet somewhere if you’re game.

Burns a quart and a half to and from Monteagle at 3k rpm the whole time. Bottom end seems fine, zero noises besides typically valve train noise, constant oil pressure between 60-70 psi, mechanical gauge verified. Motor is still in the truck( in the process of an ls swap but still taking her on trips) and pickup would have to be local. I will pull the motor and trans on a gentleman’s agreement of the buyer coming down here.
Please let me know if you have any other questions

Awesome, sounds great. Have you managed to do a compression test on the cylinders? Would like to know where they're at before going any further.

Also curious what your timeline for pulling the motor might look like. I could definitely make my way down there in the next month or so.

Thanks!!

Super surprised that this hasn’t sold. Great deal for a 60 motor. I’d also be interested in parts, but it’s pretty likely you’ll get your asking price for the combo.

GLWS.

I’m interested in the trans, bell housing, and flywheel etc. Do you happen to have a transfer case too?
I could definitely split the combo for you. Trans has classic output shaft wear but with the updated long spline output gear it is no problem. Keeping the transfer case unless I find a 38mm case.

Wish you were closer. I'd love to take the complete motor off your hands.

Would you do $300 for the transmission, bell housing, bell housing cover, flywheel, and all associated clutch bits, picked up?
