Up for sale is my 1982 Toyota FJ40. Purchased another 82 to restore so I'm selling this one to finance the project.

EVERYTHING IS STOCK and I had it pre smogged and the only thing that needed replacing was the smog pump which is on the way from cruiserparts.

Rig runs excellent, it is missing the radio which I can't find for a reasonable price.

No hurry to sell and if the ad is up the Rig is still available... two31740526four is my cell

Clean California title in my name

It'd be interesting to find out what rust mitigation was done before the repaint. I do appreciate the honesty to show pictures of the truck before the paint..

Interesting conglomeration of the Cruiser in various conditions.
Seller sent me before pics and then you see after, I explained that it would have been nice if there was no repaint done to it.

Hi, Were you able to go see?
I did not. Spoke with the gentleman on the phone and his honest description of the repairs was not exactly confidence inspiring. Basically said he treated it with rust inhibitor and covered it with ‘ya know fiberglass and stuff’. From there it was painted and clear coated.

On the plus side it does seem pretty original and clean minus all the hidden corrosion. If it’s still for sale in awhile I might see if he’s willing to accept a more reasonable offer.

No pictures of the back or passenger side still too, it's like he just decided to leave them out

There was a tan 82 for sale in SoCal for awhile that was from Hawaii that was pretty rusty. This one shows an old Hawaii DMV safety sticker on the back. Probably same cruiser that was in SoCal area for sale awhile back.
