For Sale is my 1980 Toyota Landcruiser BJ 44; 4 cylinder Diesel; manual with 4 speed stick shift; Four Wheel Drive; Front Disk Brakes; AC; the speedometer is in kilometers (168,000) so the conversion to miles equals approximately 100,000 miles; registered in California until May of 2011; clear title; CA smog exempt. Rare BJ 44 is similar to the FJ 40 version but with 14 extra inches of body length that accommodates a full bench set in the rear; Japanese Import Right Hand Drive (cool for checking the waves on 101); equipped with a factory installed Toyota 2 B Diesel engine that is known for its long term reliability and low-end torque that makes them very good off road; quite a few Cruiser aficinados believe Diesel Land Cruisers are the best; as you probably know Diesel engine equipped Landcruisers are legendary in the Australian Outback, South America, and Africa; this Diesel engine starts right up, runs great and operates smoothly; motor runs cool and doesn't stall or sputter; this truck is mechanically sound and has excellent fuel mileage of 18 to 20 miles per gallon. Truck comes with a lot of features such as a 24 Volt Heavy duty electrical system with dual batteries; comes with 24 volt to 12 volt power converter; comes with Land cruiser manual; has a very solid body; no signs of wear or off road abuse; only minor small spots of rust; Price includes a 10 leg Thule Heavy Duty custom build roof carrier with an Autocamp roof tent (see pics - my Longboard is not included in the package).

This Cruiser turns heads wherever it goes, and people always come up to it to have a peek, and a smile, looks very respectable all around, all mechanical systems perform as they are supposed to. This diesel cruiser has low operating costs if maintained properly with regular oil/filter changes; it can be a lifetime trucks. I used it as a weekend driver and vacation vehicle and I drive it back and forth from my camping trips with no issues. We are moving out of state and i have to sell soon, but I am in no hurry. Truck is located in San Diego.
