Absolutely beautiful, frame off, nut and bolt restoration! This 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40 got the whole kit and caboodle! There is less than 100 miles on this truck since restoration. This dry western truck was taken off the frame, the frame was blasted and the body was taken down to the metal. What little rust there was got cut out and replaced with correct-gauge, better-than-OEM quality metal. I have pics of the complete restoration and am happy to share with any interested parties. The motor, trans and t-case were rebuilt. She enjoys new brakes, re-sealed axles and new exhaust. The interior is pretty much all new. The seats have been reupholstered with factory style upholstery along with a new OEM headliner. All new OEM weatherstripping was added and the doors shut and seal tight. A new Alpine deck was added with 2 waterproof Rockford Fosgate speakers mounted to the roll bar. The front floor boards were treated to Dynamat and new custom carpet. The rear cargo area has a custom mat underneath the carpet which are both removable. All 5 wheels were blasted and painted in factory paint with 5 brand new 285/75/16 BFG KO2 A/T tires. A new 2 1/2" Pro Comp lift was installed with greaseable shackles.
