1980 FJ40 PS conversion using FJ60 PS Gearbox/Pump (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy
I have heard that it is possible to use a FJ60 PS Gear box/pump/arm
to convert PS to a 80 FJ40 with manual stock factory steering.
This FJ has a 5.3 LS and we are hoping to mount the PS near the lower left side of the engine compartment.
I have noticed the 60 series gear boxes come from different periods in the 80's.
Has anyone had success/reliability ( non leakage, etc ) with this process?
Any insight/tips are appreciated...
