Chasing down various aspects of the steering system to improve road manners of a SOA with factory power steering.

Replaced TRE's, a little increase in castor from shims, not sure what else.

It seems to me that I saw a thread that the FSM showed a screw on the OEM steering box to help adjust play that may develop within the steering box. If i recall correctly the screw is located on the backside of the box, on the side with the heat shield, and the FSM had instructions on how to adjust the steering without over tightening.

Does anybody have those pages of the FSM, or can help me locate the adjustment screw and outline the adjustment process ?

The screw sets the tooth engagement for the sector shaft and worm gear follower. I forgot which way turning makes it tighter, but you will find out quickly when you play with it. It can compensate for wear, but the problem is that the wear is usually most in the center of the range. Make absolutely sure that it is not too tight at any point in the gear travel or the wheel will not return to center on its own, which can be hazardous.
