No.

They are different engines...that share some similar aspects.

dang, does anyone have the 2F Engine manual??? I really need it. would a 1980 FJ40 body and electrical factory repair manual be the same as a 1979 one??? i cant even find these manuals on ebay. and i am in college so i dont have hardly any money. not nearly enough to buy these manuals new. i lack cutting the front two body mounts then the whole tub will be ready to come off after i figure out how to disassemble everything from the firewall. please help. thanks please reply steven

If it is not on Birfield.com - try Cruiser Dan, he will cut you a sweet deal.

My Chassis and Body manual cost $30 from the dealer - full bore, no discount.

This is less than the cost of a tank of gas. If this is out of your price range, you are going to have a hard time with this tear-down...

If it's just for a quick reference, try a central library. Believe it or not, my library had a lot of FSM for all different types of cars, including 6-7 different years of FJ40 land cruiser. I don't know if they'll like you getting it all greasy and stuff though.

But yeah, if you plan on doing a tear down on your land cruiser, you're gonna wish everything was as cheap as the manuals. Be prepared to spend some $$$.
