For sale is a 1979 Toyota BJ40 Land Cruiser. This vehicle has the same body as the FJ40, but has a 3.0 liter 4 cylinder model B diesel engine with a dual speed transfer case and 4 speed manual transmission. The vehicle was originally imported into the US from Costa Rica, has import documentation and a clean Tennessee Title. Most of the vehicle is original, including the engine. It has been well maintained and has a number of improvements that include front disc brakes and new manual front locking hubs. The glow plugs have been replaced, engine has been tuned and front knuckles have been rebuilt. The vehicle was repainted in the 90s (originally hunter green) and shows very little rust throughout. This model has the ambulance doors and side seats that fold up. The headliner and original upholstery is in good shape. Call for more details.
