Looking for the air intake scoop for a 1979 FJ40. These were the same for 79-84 and they look like this.

I have one too, but @ToyotaMatt expressed interest, but hasn't been responding to pms... If he backs out I'll ping you.

Sad is back around the turn of the century could have picked up from a wrecking for next to nothing. This is also one of the parts that when the rubber hose rotted out it got tossed along with hose. Today so many of the 40 series are 40 imports which did not have an air pump and used a completely different air cleaner. What is really a shame is OEM soft tops bows and soft top doors got trashed went the top worn out and it was cheaper to buy a Best Top and doors than the cost of a replacement top.

Seems like I'm always looking for one of these - Where the heck are they going? Now I need one for a 1980 I'm working on. I don't get it, As "Living in the Past" said, may of them probably got tossed or lost. Dang! When my tires wear out, I don't throw away the wheels! :p

If you need a bunch of them let’s just stamp out 50 of em. Happy to help

If you could get the cost per unit down to a reasonable number where a guy didn't lose money. I'd just add them to my parts inventory. May talk with City Racer and see if he would be interested in this. One issue is there are two varieties. 75-78 and 79-84.

Im aware. I have a few new 75-78 samples.
There’s also the question, if I make the 75-78 part, do I make the clamp and bracket too?
Price per part would probably not be cheap.
