USA Model 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. $39,500 obo.
This is an authentic USA model 1978 FJ40. Not an import. Don't let the front bumper fool you! I just like the rubber bumper pads. All ownership and work has been completed in the lower 48.
This FJ40 is in immaculate condition. The work was done around two years ago and still looks this stunning!
Full frame-off restoration done in original skyblue 854 by a professional body shop.
Full engine rebuild of the 4.2 liter inline 6-cylinder 2F. The engine was rebuilt including a new head gasket, piston, rings, plugs, oil pump, alternator, radiator, starter, battery, trays, reservoirs, exhaust overhaul, etc. Look at the engine pics. Very clean and running great.
Original Toyota wheels with 31x10.50 15 tires that are practically brand new.
The under body has rhino lined (in blue) undercoating. Interior completely done by a professional upholsterer. All components are either new or fixed to new condition. Recently tuned up and fluids changed. I also just dropped a new carburetor from SOR on it. Runs perfectly.

Issues and non-factory options:
NO AC or Power Steering.
Imperfections in some of the glass due to normal daily use.
Aftermarket radio and interior light pull (red knob on the dash).
Odometer reads 1900 miles. The tenths are turning but not any of the other miles digits. My family has put around 30,000 on since the restoration without any issues.
The vehicle is sold as-is. I may end the auction early if I receive a good offer as it is also for sale locally.
