Sold!!!
I just bought this rig about 4 months ago, and I hate to let it go, but my wife is now pregnant with our first child. And didn’t think we were going to be able to, so now it is time to get rid of our toys.
I am still fairly new to Cruisers so I will try to describe what has been done to the best of my knowledge. I got it from a guy that bought it three years ago, and never drove it. (The alternator was never hooked up) So a majority of the work that was done was by the owner before him who worked at an off-road shop in the Denver area. Here is a list of what has been done before and since I got it:
SOA
Saginaw P/S
SBC 350 rebuilt within 2000 miles
GM 4 speed rebuilt within 2000 miles
Toyota Transfer case rebuilt within 2000 miles
Custom Cage
New Clutch Master Cylinder
New Brake master cylinder
Rebuilt Radiator
Bed liner on firewall and tub
I’m sure there is more that I am forgetting. On the short list to be done in the next few weeks, if it doesn’t sell before:
Cut and turn front axle (done)
It does have diamond plate on the rear quarters, but not to cover up any major cancer. The PO was going to put on much bigger tires, so they were cut and modified to fit them. I just put it on to go back to factory wheel well size until I got the money to have it done properly. The frame and body are solid, the only bad rust was in the back corner by the passenger side ambulance door. I do have the hard top, soft top, and bikini top, as well as several other parts that I got with it.
I traded my Harley for it at the time, so I am asking $6,000 firm. I will work with the buyer on transportation.
Here is a link to pictures, most are from when I got it home, and some of the work I did after the first week. Flickr: jdmick's Photostream I will add more current pictures later.
