I've been looking at that one but was turned off by the diamond plate. I live in Denver and go check out for someone if needed.
I was looking at this online. Forgive my newbie question, but how would you know if there is rust behind the diamond plate without taking the plate off?
There's only one reason to put diamond plate on a 40. To cover rust.
im in boulder and can look at it for someone. the diamond plating is a deal breaker for me and i have to say the 60 series seats look awful in a 40
Those appear to be '78 FJ40 seats, re-upholstered in later/newer fabric.
they are fj60 seats. they look similar to fj40 seats but have cloth
Nice looking 40...but would love to see more pics...underneath, frame, behind the diamonds, etc. Pretty sure those are FJ40 seats...they've just been recovered in a cloth. Look at the pic showing them from the back.
