would that be considered a 10 foot rig? looks good from 10 feet away. price seems high. I would question the stated mileage.

Damn that thing looks clean and sweet!! That Cruiser will get scooped up quick.

are you the owner?all tho different handle, or a good friend of the owner. both from the same town.

I'm sure not. The town has a whopping 8000 people after all... ;)

And that rig has some rust. It's not bad or anything but look at the lower part of the bib and the driver's aide fender just up from the side step.

I also wonder about that gauge panel. There is an awful lot of paint coming off the main housing and even the gauge faces for a 36k truck that has a hardtop.

And it's been repainted. The bib, hood and windshield used to be blue.

I do know the owner of the rig. Nothing regarding the truck or mileage is misrepresented. You can call Dalton if you have questions about the truck.

like chris said, i have all documentation to prove the mileage and yes the truck used to be blue, i had it repainted because i built this truck to hunt with and the blue just obviously good for that. No rust holes or anything on the whole thing, surface rust on frame and some on body where paint has chipped but this truck is solid. Bought in Arizona and made its way to texas in 1994.

LOL.

The mileage is very, very low, but there is no way to tell given that the max capacity is 100k miles.

Agree that it is a very nice 10 foot truck.

The paint looks great but is not original, and I think the hard top is from a 78, not a 77.

From the looks of the bumper, I suspect it was a snow plow truck. Which could explain the low miles and the "worn"overall appearance of the truck and the rust underneath.

Most trucks with 36k miles would not need a restore. They would still be basically new. They basically do not exist. Just sayin'

Was this a CCoT "restoration"? It kind of has their "look"

Good luck with the sale.

as far as underhood pics etc. i just have not had a chance to load them on photobucket

wow you guys are tough but wrong, this was not a snow plow truck, never seen snow first off. Go look under any vehicle in your driveway, no matter where you live there will be surface rust, hell my 08 king ranch has surface rust under it and its never seen snow, ice, sand or salt water. the front bumper was built to fit a warn m8000 that i previously had mounted. and like i said earlier, i am the 3rd owner and have all the docs proving the mileage, copies of the original title etc.

This truck was driven, parked outdoors etc its whole life, if it only had 36k miles and sat inside its whole life sure it may not need a restore but like most 35 year old vehicles its spent plenty of time outside. And from my understanding this is exactly how the truck came, top is original to this cruiser. And i had everything done to it, it was not a CCOT restoration whatever that means. I put this thing together to be driven and hunted with not to be a trailer queen that places in car shows...

The problem is you're selling something that is in good shape but not a 'rust free 36k' vehicle.

The green paint job was poorly done, You didn't even take the weather stripping off the passenger door before you painted and the blue is showing behind it where the weather stripping is coming off the bottom of the door. You didn't take the emblems off the right rear of the truck, either. And there is rust showing around the bottom of the TOYOTA emblem that was probably there before painting but wasn't properly taken care of.

The rust spots on the lower rear part of the front fender are not from a paint chip. It is from rust that was there before the green paint went on that wasn't properly addressed and now it's come through the green paint just like it had dome though the blue before.

The truck doesn't appear to have serious rot kind of rust, but it does have rust.
