1976 FJ55 It's pretty solid without the typical rust although it does have some. It was stored indoors by the PO. It's running with a rebuilt 1977 donor 2f. Rebuilt back in 2012. This pig has hardly been driven and rebuilt engine has maybe 3,000-4,000 miles on it. This 2f has 3fe headers, new water pump, oil galley plug, new rings, bearings and gaskets. In 2012 also got a new clutch TO bearing, and machined fly wheel. At this time it will need the exhaust hooked up. I am currently rebuilding the carb and I might get to the exhaust. It just has a temporary exhaust hooked with the 3fe headers. I was going to go back to the original exhaust and manifold. Originally blue on white color but PO painted it OD green. Has a newer headliner. Front seat is in bad shape. Back seat has some rips. Dash and steering wheel is cracked badly. IPOR front bumper and winch shown in pictures DON’T come with it. Sold with front stock bumper. It's a great candidate for restoration and time to let it go. Located in Franklin TN just south of Nashville. PM me for additional pictures or info. Asking $8,900 or OBO

Wow...don't see many Pigs here in TN...I have a '78.

Looks pretty straight...Is the market for Pigs this good right now? Good luck with selling

I'm sure there are others this solid but I have not seen one in person with this little of rust and ALL of the original smog equipment on a 2F. The only thing not original on this truck is the front bumper, glove box door, and a new headliner. I only switched out the 2F to be able to drive it while I was going to rebuild the original one. My hope was to restore it back to blue on white and put the original 2F back in it. But I've got too many projects going on right now.

Looks like a rust hole at the bottom of the passenger side front fender? I'd venture to guess rust in the roof and rockerss as well, seeing as they all rust they instant they get wet. Looks like the weatherstrip around the rear power window is gone? Busted driver side reverse light? maybe a dent? Those light are not that easy to find.

Any pig priced higher than $5k needs LOTS of photos due to the ability to hide rust and issues... inside, outside, underneath, under hood, rear tailgate down (to confirm window operation) what kind of winch? electric/hydraulic/PTO? How old? May or may not increase the value. For sure will need new tires and shocks.

But you are correct, great candidate for a resto.

Just to finalize the for sale thread. The 55 is great. Still lots to do but got the spray paint off, new carb, new tires. Very solid truck. Has some spots to fix but they are easy ones (not roof, very little on body panels). She's been out on a couple of nice day strolls so far.
