Engine sounds great, I'll post video when I get back from vacation. The bed liner is Herculiner, very rough texture but it looks good. I used 3 coats and it used up nearly a gallon. Carquest for $75. Save the roller! You can reuse it even after the stuff drys.

I bet that first time hearing that Cummins rattlin away was sweet music!:smokin:

Finally got the clutch working, throttle cable mounted and some other odds and ends done. Enough to start it and drive out of the shop at least. Turbo is still needing hooked up as well as the alternator. Can't find the right brackets I need anywhere. Using the fluid mounts was the best thing I did, vibrates a little but not bad at all.

Here is a vid of it running.

I love the 4bt but I had a ranger OD with the same set up as you with the 3.4L Cummins 6AT. I HATED the ranger- the straight cut gears were much louder than my diesel ever was, the shifting wasn't that smooth, and all that rotating mass in front of my H42 tranny made for less smoother shifting as well. It was cool to say I had 16 forward gears and 4 reverse gears, but if I was to do it again, I would go with a NV4500 to a split case.

Good luck on your project!

Wow... Looks like you've been patient and made sure it is done right. Do you mind if I ask what you had to give for the Cummins
