"Almost" totally restored FJ40 in show condition. I am the second owner and have taken almost 8 years to get it looking and running like new. There are some aftermarket parts, however the engine was rebuilt last year using primarily OEM parts. Re-build has less than 200 miles on it: new block, carb, alternator, battery, radiator, and heads. Shocks are new however I never made it to the undercarrage or train however they have been serviced by an experienced tech. Registration is up-to-date and it just passes smog. I have photos of most of the restoration project.

NO SMOG NEEDED IF SOLD BY JULY 1st.

This has been a passion project for me and due to an unforeseen matter, I am having to part ways. Beautiful paint job, no dings or scratches. It has been to several auto shows and is always an attraction.

Asking price is $25k however will take best offer - No bidding or best offers on this forum.
Please IM or email my assistant with any questions and I will provide my phone number.

Other than that tailgate awesome truck. I bet you get at or close to asking.
I would like to have it my collection

What's wrong with his tailgate?

When I first got her, she had a hard-top with ambulance doors. The only issue was that there was a hole about 3-feet round right in the middle. All the interior was gone (except some remaining foam). We are in the beach area so I decided to go with the rag-top. I think that the ambulance doors were the only thing that I was able to salvage. It was a difficult decision.

I had an offer of $20k however several people are telling me that I should be able to do a bit better. If anyone who knows about this could give some guidance it would be appreciated. I have now listed it also on ebay to see if I can get more interest.
Toyota: FJ Cruiser
Let me know you thoughts, hopefully in time for me to change the reserve ;-)

Nice looking 40 for sure... Do you have the top and rear doors or is it as it sits? If so, I am no expert on these trucks and VALUE is of course what someone is willing to pay for it... But about 2 years ago now, I bought mine (an 80) for what someone is offering you for the 76... Seems really reasonable if the top and rear doors would be something that would have to be sourced, by the person buying the 40 if they wanted them... Just my .02 cents... GLWS, great looking 40!
