I'm posting this 1976 FJ40 for a friend of a friend that isn't on MUD. She has owned it for 15 years and just doesn't have the space to keep it anymore. I looked it over yesterday and can answer whatever questions you have. It's being stored over an hour from me so specific additional pics are not really possible.

It was last running about 4 months ago. I tried some carb cleaner I had with me to to see if we could breathe some life back into it. The 2F almost fired up a couple times before the battery went dead. So I think a carb rebuild and possible fuel pump and it should be running again. Brake and clutch pedals felt solid. The 4 speed transmission shifted easily into all gears. The transfer case as well shifted easily from hi to lo and 2wd to 4wd. There is an aftermarket HEI distributor installed and the original is in a box in the back.
From the outside the body looks pretty good especially from a distance. But from the inside you can see more of the rust problems. Interestingly the rear sill is solid, but the floor and fender wells have been covered or patched due to rust through. The body is where the majority of the issues reside. Please see pictures before asking questions. There is a decent bikini top in the back, and the Kayline top although dirty, looks to be in pretty good shape. There is a pic of one hole I found in it.
