Hi, I am an extremely long time lurker but this is my first post as I don't own a Cruiser. I hesitate to put this thread out there because I'm afraid someone else will jump on the deal and contact the guy, but I figure it is better to know the answers to the questions I have for the next time if someone does. There's a 40 for sale and the guy is asking $3500 OBO. The pics he posted make it look like it is in pretty good shape but he didn't show the back at all which worries me.

Ive got a 1975 Toyota Landcruiser for sale it has a 4" spectre off road lift kit and a brush guard. Body has some rust not too horrible. Runs and drives fine, transmission has a whining sound, I was told it was common by several different people. Shifts fine good clutch 4x4 works good, I used it around my farm some that's about it.
Basically what I want to know is what questions should I be asking this guy, and what should I look for when I go take a look at it.
