Don't have time to do this project right, so she needs someone who does. I'm the 3rd owner. Majority of her life was a hunting/work truck in Idaho. Second owner bought and flipped her to me. I drove her daily in southern California for nearly a year, and then the head gasket went. This was my first project, and I'm admittedly out of my depth getting her to run properly again (runs rough and dies at idle).
Truck is near complete, but needs some body work on the usual suspects of rust spots. Here's a good accounting of what she has going for her, and what she doesn't:

Truck is near complete, but needs some body work on the usual suspects of rust spots. Here's a good accounting of what she has going for her, and what she doesn't:
The Good
- F Engine manufactured in '72 with 4 speed transmission
- Rear seats in great condition
- Tires have low miles
- Replaced hoses while replacing gasket
- Cap and rear gate metal and windows in good condition
- Frame in good condition; they put some undercoat on it that seemed to do the trick
- Parts to go with:
- New SOR header & header pipe
- New original stock window regulators
- New original stock side lights
- New original stock windshield mirrors
- Hood
- Spare tire carrier
- Front seats need to be reupholstered
- Rust
- Driver's side floor rusted through; previous owner put in a temp solution
- Rusted through under driver's door sill
- Cosmetic rust on most panels
- Windshield cracked
- Dashpad is in poor shape
- Parking brake does not engage (haven't pulled rear wheels to investigate)
The Ugly
- Replaced the head gasket; haven't managed to re-time properly
- Roof is missing liner
- Heater pulled out during head gasket replacement
- Top/door gaskets pulled off but exist
- Rear deck replaced with diamond plate (seems well done)
- Orange painted over original red
