I have the frame.
Someone on the east coast PM'ed me and I told them I would not seperate. I will find the PM and see who posted first and forward it to you so you don't think there is any funny business going on.

I was hoping to sell it with the cowl but that doesn't look promising.

I will get it off and see how rusty it is on the bottom lip.

sorry I was looking for a frame.

I should have charged you labor.

Did you know there is a clip holding the upper bearing in? :D

Dan,

I am looking for part #23 in the attached link. It is the steering column support through the fire wall. Is is the square style not the earlier oval type.

http://www.sor.com/shared/image/098B.gif

I have it stil on the firewall.

Is there suppose to be a bushing or something in there?

No bushing, the column bolts to the mount with 4 bolts and the mount attaches to firewall with 3 bolts. There is a rubber gasket between it and the firewall. Bushing/gromett/gasket was used on the early (oval shaped) mounts.

It will go out with your box-o-stuff in the morning.

I hope this is the right one. Because you are getting it sent to you since it matches the picture in the link you posted.

The cable on the passenger side is frayed (sp?).

Mark at MArks off road has these cables for $20.00 on his site. 169-02 is his part number. There is a link a few posts down.

Is there a trick to testing these or just hook up 12v and see if it moves?

Do you still have the rear hatch? How good of shape are the latch mechanisms? You wouldn't have the hard doors would you? Please pm me with more info.

I connected it to 12v and both the high speed and low speed work.

The wiper link wire needs replaced. Mark has them for $20 under part # 169-02 on his site.

Catalogue Page 28

$125 plus shipping will get you both the motor and the link pivot, the spacers, 4 mounting bolts and the wiper arms. Basically everything but the wire going down the windshield.

I will check the motor and the other gear setup when I get back home this weekend,

Let me know.

Dan,

Can I get next in line for the wiper motor?

And how much for the windshield glass? I found a frame.

I'll give AKFJ62 till sunday night to post up whether he wants it or not. Monday morning if he has not posted, it will go to you.

I just opened up the windshield last night. It is in mint condition as well as the windshield to cowl mounting gasket. I wish my 1976 was this rust free and gasket in this condition.

I plan on pulling the winshield today and will see how the windshield gasket is.

Thanks Dan!

I will get it boxed up and ready to ship. My distribution center is closed until Jan 5 2009.

If you want, I can take it to a UPS regular location but the freight will be about 3x's as much.

We get a crazy rate from UPS since we fill at least one of thier semi-trailers a day.
