1973 FJ40 Weber Carb, no return line , fuel tank under the passenger seat. Installing a Holley Sniper EFI and need a return line. All I see on top of tank is the gas guage sending unit. Any suggestions

I wonder if you can "T" into the filler neck vent line? Or possibly, upgrade to the 77100-60043 (9/73 - 1/79) fuel tank with the return line nipple.
On my ‘72 build, I used an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and ran the return from that into a Tee on the filler neck vent line. Saw one of our Ohio gurus plumb his 2f similarly.
If you cap the return on the Sniper, and regulate to the 60 psi (iirc) elsewhere you’ll be good to go.

Look into the Robb MC power surge. It makes install a lot cleaner and easier. Return line might be on the side of the tank towards the driver.
Does the surge tank need a return to the fuel tank?
It does, but by using it you won’t need other components such as a fuel regulator or anything else running to and from the tank as it uses the stock fuel pump.
