Updated, sold the wheels tires, hood and front disc setup. Please read through the listing, some things have changed.

I've had this posted in the 55 section, I'm hoping to get a few more eyes here.

Click for 90+ Pics Most of these are older pics, that wont show newer parts (master, rear brakes..)

Here is the rundown.
1972 FJ55

Drive train
350 small block/ Ram horn manifolds/ Quadrajet/ 3 speed on the floor. New plugs, wires, belts, exhaust gaskets, rubber engine mounts, dual taurus fans, newer alt., Aluminum radiator with new hoses, Borla exhaust, used chevy power steering pump, It runs rich.

Brakes and suspension
Safari 4" lift and new shocks, Sliders that replace the rockers, Monte Carlo rear disc brakes, FJ80 master cyl. i also have a set ford shock towers. Driver side rear shackle will need new nuts/grease pins/bolts. The PO installed the shackles backwards, the fronts have been switched and while in the process of changing the rears the two main bolts on the driver side got messed up, I found replacements for about $20 a set.

Body
From what i have seen the body isn't in that bad of shape but it is a 55 and there is rust. The rear end is the worst, the section under the vapor collectors are open, rear fender lips are cheese graders (have replacements) tail gate is rough, rear body mounts are eatin up. The floor in front of the rear seat has some rust (have a replacement). Drivers rear brake/turn signal lens is broken,
Windshield is toast, all other glass is good, Front floor is in good shape, roof is very nice, door hinges have been rebuilt and doors are as smooth as butter.

Interior
I built a mount for the front seats, any smaller honda/acura seats should fit (civic/integra/rsx ect..) the seats you see in the pics are gone, comes with a tundra center console that will fit in between seats, there is no back seat, Headliner is torn up. Weather stripping is all but gone, Have some interior panels and rubber floor mats. I have window cranks, arm rests, some jack parts and some misc stuff.

The Bad
Since the 55 came from out of state the DMV has to see it in person and match up the VIN with the title, i haven't had a chance nor do i have the means to get the pig to the DMV. I will include a bill of sale, the CO title from the PO, all the paperwork i have. I went to the DMV and it is not in their system. I have the old title and the transfer form.

Listed on craigslist for $1100, but will sell to a mud member for $900

Feel free to ask questions. If you want specific pics just ask. If shipped I will help any way I can. I'm in the Hemet area.

If I can figure out how to get this to Austin cheap I will by this. Any suggestions? I've always wanted a 55 and this seems to be a manageable project for me.

I actually used UShip before it was a reality show. If memory serves it was about $700 from CO. I don't know what you consider cheap though, its quite a haul.

I wish i had something to tow it with, I would haul it in a heartbeat in November and maybe catch an F1 race while i'm at it.

Check out UShip though.

Find out a way to tow it out here and you can stay with me for the F1 race... Otherwise, I can check out uship and ask around for some ideas...

Someone made an offer on the wheels, tires and hood that I couldn't turn down, The deal hasn't happened yet and i'm not holding my breath.

I would rather not part this out but I told myself no more vehicles until this is gone and the 80 itch has become a full blown rash.

Updated, $900 for a mud member.

Quite a few people are asking for parts, I am not really looking to part out at this point but I said that before I sold the wheels and tires, someone just made an offer i couldn't refuse.

Feel free to request parts via PM, I'm getting a list together and will PM people if/when it comes to that. It would make me happy to have the garage space though so someone buy the whole thing! :flipoff2:
