Sherman the Family Tank is up for sale. We are moving on to new projects and have a daughter going to college so Sherman needs a good,new home. Sherman is set up as an expedition/camping vehicle and has served us well.

We have had the FJ55 for over 8 years and taken very good care of it. Unless otherwise noted all work was done in 2006-2008:
Starts every time
Original paint
Everything works even electric rear window
New front bucket seats - 2009
SOR rear seat cover
Front and rear four point seat harnesses
Custom center console
CB Radio
1984 2F engine w 10K miles on rebuild
Rebuilt head from MAF
Weber carb
MAF header with custom exhaust
MSD electronic ignition
GM alternator
Custom snorkel with K&M filter - 2009
SOR Brush guard with 8000 lb Mile Marker winch; Hella lights
Roof rack with cable brush guards, lighting, hi-lift, shovel and fuel can racks
Add-a-leaf spring packs; Pro Comp shock absorbers
MAF disc brakes in front
Classic Cruisers power steering; Grant steering wheel
Classic Auto Air heater & A/C unit
4 speed transmission w/ t case
Aluminum radiator
Flexalite fan with electronic control
Custom aluminum dash with VDO gauges and stereo (CD/Ipod/Sirius-XM inputs) 4 speakers
Rebuilt front hubs; rebuilt front axle - 2009
Rebuilt diffs with 4.56 gearing - 2009
Custom rear driveshaft
Drawer storage in cargo area; carpeted in cargo area
Original rubber floor mat throughout
eDead rubber/foil insulation and automotive carpet insulation
BFG A/T KO 33x9.50 tires on black steel rims
Electronic trailer brake
Bumper mount 2” receiver hitch
Custom sliders/side steps -2009
Still needs attention:
Some rust on roof rear corners; some rust on lower left corner behind rear wheels; some rust behind front wheels on both sides. Nothing out of control, but could use some eventual repair
Head liner serviceable but has some tears
Front doors could use some hinge bushings
Runs a bit rich at start up
Some spare parts come with the sale.
Won "Best of Show" at 2009 PMC Swap Meet!
