For Sale 1972 FJ40 Good Shape - Northern Virginia

1972 FJ40 w/ 81391 Miles *** SOLD ****

I am moving to California and cannot take the car with me. I am asking 4100 obo.

Runs well but a tad sticky on cold starts.
POR-15 Painted Frame and Underbody
No major rust
4Wheel Drive works
3 Speed on the floor.
Original F engine
Wipers, Lights, Heater, Fan all work.

I bought the car 5 years ago with the intention of trying to work on it to learn some basic mechanics but never really followed through. So it sat in my garage for that time being driven a few times a year.

It has a new fuel pump, and rebuilt carburetor. Just had it serviced and would gladly put you in contact with the mechanic for a recommendation.

Looks like you can still have a shot at it... That is if you want to pay double of what it was sold for. It cracks me up when people recycle a previous owners pics.

Did you notice how the post here stated there was minimal rust and on that guys ebay page it says rust free. Thats pisses me off, very few people are completely honest. When you say rust free it can only mean one thing.

Correct.. but a lot of others wanted it at the original price...because it was reasonable.
