1971 FJ 40 clutch question

Ok I replaced the rear main seal, I needed a new clutch, finally got all the parts together but forgot which way the clutch disc goes. The new one is not labeled as to which side goes towards the crank or pressure plate or anything. Does any one know which way to install this new clutch pad? Its from Spectre (the heavy duty one they offer, its an aisan) Any help would be awsome.

Flywheel/Clutch Install This might help... I managed to get mine in backwards, but caught it...

What are the symptoms if this was installed backwards? Anyway to tell if it in backwards without tearing it all down and backing the tranny out?

i beleive your clutch wouldnt grab and you could shift but you would get no transfer of power to the axles

Its the other way, it will never disengage if it is in backwards.
