SOLD!
BIKE SOLD ON CRAIGSLIST

Up for sale is my 1970 CT90 with the original K2 motor located in Rome, Georgia.
This is a strong little runner with the high / low transfer case. In low it will just about climb a tree!
I am asking $1000 firm.

I just put a new carb on this thing and it is running great.
It needed considerable work when I bought it as it is nearly as old as I.
I put in a new clutch, repaired the timing chain, replaced the brakes front and rear, and rear sprocket, repaired some wiring, added the saddle tank and mirrors, new battery cover, new 6v gel battery with a battery tender plug and just put on a brand new carb from Beatrice. The bike comes with a few spare parts: a full set of engine seals, two rebuildable carbs and a few other odds and ends.

Today I had it up to 42mph on the flats and it was running strong.
I will gladly deliver this to a shipper within an hour of Rome, Georgia but at the asking price, you will be responsible for any packing of the bike.

I am selling because I have two of these in my garage and I just do not ride them enough -- they need to burn gas to stay healthy! :steer:

This a is a hoot to ride and you will giggle like a school girl when you take it for a spin. This is great economical transportation if you live in a small town. I am surrounded by roads that require 55 or better to not get run down so I can't go get milk (or beer) on this little guy.

One final note, Georgia will not issue a title for vehicles this old so this sale will be by bill of sale only. No title or registration exists for this motor. (I have not put plates on it since I purchased it as I only ride around our neighborhood.)

Shoot me a PM if you have any questions or are interested.

I actually have no idea. I have never ridden it long enough or far enough to know. I am told they can get as high as 90 mpg¥

Sent from my thing with Woody's junk.

I'm kind of in the same boat. You have to go 55mph on the back roads around here.

What part of GA are you?

...located.
