'98 LS400 in great shape with 293k miles.

All cigarette lighters unused and look brand new
The original plastic on the Lexus-branded towel next to the spare tire was in place. I touched the plastic, and it disintegrated immediately. Towel is like new!
Embedded tool kit in the trunk and the first aid kit under driver's seat look to have been opened by me for the first time in their life.
All carpet (including trunk) looks brand new under the floor mats.
We inherited this from a family member that passed last year; he owned it for many years. Very much a "whatever it needs it gets" type approach as noted by the maintenance history. Sure, it has some faded paint and the like, but I think it is the best looking car for the miles. He really took care of this thing.
The only things I can think of is the steering tilt motor locks up sometimes when it is cold, but it drives great with no concerns. Google search results in "bus driver", so it is apparently something that happens to these cars, but looks to be a straightforward fix. The passenger mirror's upward movement doesn't seem to follow track.
I put a battery in it a few months ago, but this car just sits as we have no need for it. I had aspirations to tinker with it and maybe continue to drive it, but it just never came to light. I've always liked these cars, but the house is starting to look like a used car lot. With this one sitting, it's first to go.
Brakes, ball joints, timing belt, valve covers, motor mounts, transmission mounts, heater valve, spark plugs, alignments, transmission flushes, O2 sensors, coolant, oil changes, VVT solenoids, air filters, water pump, coil packs, starter, gaskets, cabin filters, tires, starter, wheel bearing, battery, etc…
Title is in hand and in name, but we do not have it tagged/insured/registered.
