This is probably gonna be best for someone with a rotted pig who needs to do a full frame-off to bring their dreams to reality, hah!

Here's the scoop:
This 55 body is in amazing condition, as is it's chassis..but, this is so because it sat as-is for nearly 15 years. I found it and have been preparing for a frame-off TD build. In the process, I came across another donor rig that is a better foundation for the project, as it doesn't require going frame-off...the interior is there, the dash assembly is usable, wiring harness, and drivetrain, etc..

So, here you go.. if anyone needs an all-metal nice pig shell to complete a project with, I am sending this one away for what I bought it for... $750

1970 Landcruiser fj55 SLIDESHOW

Details:
*It is not 100% rust-free. There is an area on the floorboards where a rubber mat was setting for years apparently, and it rusted. I will be taking a bunch more pics and placing in the linked photo album. The rest of the truck, which is what I think everyone cares about, is nearly amazing in condition.
*All glass is great.
*Frame is great, and entire rolling chassis seems ready to take your drivetrain.
*Breaks even function as-is.

I think someone is gonna be able to pull their running gear out of a rotted pig, swap over interior, deal with the harness and random linkages, and give the body whatever level of attention you desire- and have some great value in their Pig for pretty cheap.

Hit me up with feedback and opinions... I'm open to suggestion, but hoping to just cover what I paid. And, I have some random parts as well, stuff that won't be used in the '76 Pig which i'm refocusing my project on. Thanks!

hey guys, yes Truckee is correct.... I should edit my account info hmm?

but, aren't all cruiser guys psychic ??

so, the '70 wagon is SOLD, and sounds like it's going to a great project, maybe even convertible?? Chris is the new owner and is a Mud member, so keep an eye out for updates.

I will be starting on the '76 in about 2 weeks, have it on the road for a while as a 350/Turbo400 runner(and of course continuing to research the TD options... gonna be curious if a 6.5 is possible in the 55 engine bay mated to the T400) Also, looking for a lift in the realm of 3" real soon, any comments?? :D (I've done OME 2.5 before and loved it.) And any suggestions for carburation will come in very handy too, looking to replace the Quadrajet with something more efficient and more reliably tunable. Nearly the only downside to going with this '76 over the '70, is that I'm going to be smogging! >:(
